Key Responsibilities:

Operations Manager

Position Overview:

Join us at Taulanga U—a beacon of hope and support within the Free Church of Tonga community and beyond. We are seeking a dedicated and visionary Operations Manager to lead our organisation in fulfilling our mission of providing health and social support services to members and families of the Free Church of Tonga, as well as vulnerable families in the wider Pacific community. As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Taulanga U, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that embody our commitment to being a port of refuge for those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for Taulanga U, aligning operational activities with the organisation’s mission, vision, and values.

  2. Operational Oversight: Oversee all aspects of organisational operations, including service delivery, resource management, financial sustainability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  3. Team Empowerment: Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the organisation, empowering staff to achieve their full potential and deliver impactful services to our community.

  4. Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, community partners, and funders, representing Taulanga U and advocating for the needs of our clients and communities.

  5. Program Development: Drive the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives to meet the evolving needs of our community, ensuring services are culturally responsive, accessible, and effective.

  6. Quality Assurance: Establish and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, conducting regular evaluations and assessments to measure outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated experience in senior leadership roles, with a track record of effectively leading teams, driving organisational change, and achieving strategic objectives.
